HNPL will be temporary closed for the listed dates to get the library ready for the reopening on November 8.

The HNPL Bazaar is still accepting vendor registration forms! Vendors and craft sellers who are interested in having a table at the event are encouraged to apply. Pick up a form from HNPL's circulation desk and follow the instructions on how to complete it. All forms and payments must be mailed in by November 24.

Introducing Wee Readers Storytime! The same storytime you know and love but with a new twist. We're adding an afternoon session on Tuesdays. Join us for this new chapter storytime is taking with fun stories, songs, and a simple craft!

We're switching storytime up on Thursdays with Full STEAM Ahead Storytime! Join us for STEAM-based stories, music with movement, and interactive play stations. A whole new way to experience storytime!

HNPL Friends of the Library's biggest fundraiser ever has kicked off! Paint a small 4"X4" tile and it will become part of this beautiful 8'x8' mosaic mural.
Your painting kit is $25 and includes everything you need - tile, paint, brushes, and ideas!

Critter Tales Storytime

Animal of the Month: Turkeys
Join us as we learn about an animal that lives in Indiana. This month's native critter we will be exploring is the turkey! Stories, songs, and a fun craft, it's sure to be a blast!

Craft of the Month: Manga art light switch cover
Are you a fan of manga? Comics? Graphic novels? Then come celebrate your love for your favorite media in this friendly hangout. We'll share our latest favorite reads, create our own art, and try some Asian candy and snacks. It will be a manga-nificent time!
Everyone's favorite club is returning this month! We’ll provide the LEGOs, just bring your imagination. At the end, we'll take a picture of your creation for you to take home and display. Let's get creative!

This is a great opportunity to network with other local artists, work on your art projects, and have fun at the library! Bring your projects and supplies to our Makerspace.
